This is a dynamic album, there is no denying Lianes classic voice. When they hired me they were looking for something a little different..... I gave it to them. By the end of the production the live room in the studio looked like some professor had set up his lab. We played trombones through PVC pipes, trumpets into pianos and into timpani's, rigged the drum kit to play all kinds of objects, played saxophones into the B3 organ Leslie and then into a fuzz box, pulled out a box of very very old microphones, modified them and used them for recording assorted sounds. The production was done over a period of seven months mostly in various studios in Paris. This was a challenging project but well worth the trouble.
