A note from the artist Rick:

I met Mars in 1997 . An engineer I new called me and asked if I would come to this studio and do a couple guitar tracks for this producer He was working with. I told him I wasn't really into it as I'm not to good at playing what someone else hears as opposed to what I hear. I just never developed a knack for copping things that come out of someone else's head to their satisfaction or mine for that matter. But he insisted that he had seen me play a number of times and knew that I was just what this producer was looking for.
I showed up at the studio met Mars and liked his vibe for lack of a better word immediately. Cool, relaxed and confident no bullshit about him. I tuned up we set up my little Silvertone amp, turned it up full and we were off. While warming up he was recording, hence to my surprise my first track was done. I told Mars I should fix a few things, he said not to worry mate click click nudge nudge ah the world of computers and the abilities to make anyone sound like they know what their doing. He just allowed me to be free and that the technology could help free my soul, in that something that was magical but maybe not technically perfect could be taken care of in a matter of a few minutes.
This went a long way later. We both made a promise to each other that when the time presented itself we would work on something together. We had a blast. We had to hold each other back from just going over the deep end. He is a lot of fun and nothing is to strange no lyric to precious, very enthusiastic and a tireless worker. He also makes a good cup of tea.

Yes,some do say he's a little nutty, or is that eccentric?.... I see Rick as a brilliant Artist and showman. I've worked on several tracks with Rick (Ex-Aerosmith & Blue By Nature) and he still surprises me with his wonderfully twisted methods.
